Chemo Part II, Day II
This is Glenn...
Felicia had her second chemo yesterday. Today, we went back for her to get some fluids (some "helping" meds), but they just couldn't get her stuck right.
Now, she's wondering where she's at in terms of risk. With all the complications that she has, and all the troubles that the nurses keep having with find a vein (without it collapsing), she's curious if these 2 chemo's will be enough to lessen her recurrence risk to less than 10%. She's going to talk to the Dr. tomorrow.
They've offered her a "picc-line" (?) that will kept her vein open. Problem with this is that it has a high risk of infection; this on a person that has a compromised immune system due to the chemo.
We'll have to see.
